Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

A. Evaluate the effectiveness of workplace messages, both written and oral, from concept to delivery.

B. Demonstrate competence in basic writing mechanics, including, but not limited to, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

C. Analyze, plan, and implement a proposal and presentation strategies in a variety of business situations.

D. Apply the most effective business communication content, structure, and style, based upon audience analysis, purpose, and business problem or context.

E. Communicate effectively in a variety of business media and formats.

F. Edit and revise written communications to prepare them for publication in the workplace.

G. Work in groups to develop business documents for a common purpose.

H. Understand how to maneuver professionally on social media.
